Our team at KidSpot has been serving families in the Winston-Salem, North Carolina area for many years. We offer a great place to bring your kids when you need temporary childcare for any reason. Your kids will get to make their own fun at our well-appointed children’s playplace, which is full of toys, games, and other children for them to play with. - We Let Kids Take the Lead in Play – At our children’s playplace, we let kids take the lead in creating their own fun. Our staff will supervise your children to make sure everyone is safe, but we do not provide structured activities like a traditional daycare. Instead, kids are free to interact with any of the toys or games in our facility (and there are many) and to invent their own games with their peers.
- Unstructured Play Encourages Creativity – The kind of unstructured play kids can engage in at our children’s playplace helps encourage them to think creatively. When there are no pre-set rules, then kids get to come up with their own scenarios, goals, and rewards. This, in turn, helps encourage brain development.
- Kids Learn to Cooperate – At our children’s playplace, children also learn to work together on their own terms, without adult interference. (Though our staff do, of course, intervene when necessary to diffuse conflicts and manage behavior problems.) This kind of play helps children to learn to process their own feelings and consider others’ feelings and ideas as well.
